With over five years of experience in therapeutic care and clinical environments, particularly within Out-of- Home Care (OOHC), Victoria has developed
extensive expertise in supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma, live with psychosocial and neurodevelopmental disabilities, or display complex behaviours.
In her role as a Therapist at a Women and Girls Health Centre, Victoria supported individuals and families through tailored therapeutic interventions, addressing trauma, domestic violence, and mental health challenges. Later, as a Therapeutic Case Manager, she managed a caseload of children and young people within the OOHC Residential Intensive Therapeutic Care Program. She ensured compliance with legislative and OOHC standards to achieve positive outcomes, delivering person-centred care to children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs. Victoria worked closely with multidisciplinary teams, implementing trauma- informed, culturally sensitive strategies, and adhering to evidence-based practices.
Victoria is motivated by her dedication to enhancing the quality of life for individuals of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
Victoria possesses a robust skill set, including compassionate, client-focused care, therapeutic crisis intervention, and a trauma-informed, person- centred approach. She specializes in managing complex trauma and providing intensive therapeutic care for individuals with significant disabilities.
