Jennifer is a Registered Psychologist (Forensic Registrar) with four years of experience assessing and providing treatment for forensic participants using evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy(DBT).
Prior to commencing as a Behaviour Support Practitioner in 2020 at a large Not-For-Profit, Jennifer gained experience working within the criminal justice system, in the community and correctional centres, including delivering intensive therapy to participants with violent offending behaviour, sexual behaviours and history of drug and alcohol use.
Jennifer spent 3 years in a research laboratoryrefining her psychological research skills andethical practices. She conducted numerousclinical interviews including researching Pain andOpioids in Treatment and Illicit Drug ReportingSystem.
Jennifer is passionate about providing person-centred care for participants to be heard and understood, empowering participants and their stakeholders to achieve their goals and advocating for the participant to improve their quality of life. Jennifer is fluent in English and Vietnamese which enables her to effectively communicate and provide a culturally sensitive clinical service.
