Alex is an experienced leader with over 20 years working across disability, mental health, youth, and justice sectors, with a strong focus on supporting individuals and families with complex needs.

Alex’s background includes extensive experience within Juvenile Justice, where she was responsible for supervising young people in custody, and overseeing rehabilitation programs. She also worked as a Drug Detection Security and Intelligence Officer, developing strong skills in risk assessment, crisis management, and working within high-risk environments.

Her experience also includes leading early intervention and family support programs, working with young people at risk of suspension or expulsion and families at risk of entering out-of-home care. In 2016, she played a key role in transitioning these programs into the NDIS, strengthening her expertise in service coordination, program delivery, and navigating complex systems.

Alex has built and scaled services from the ground up within the NDIS, growing a national organisation. Her experience spans both frontline delivery and executive leadership, giving her a strong understanding of what is required to build services that are both operationally sound and genuinely effective.

She is known for her practical, hands-on approach, strong leadership, and commitment to delivering high-quality services that make a meaningful difference.

Alex has completed the Company Directors Course through the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds qualifications in Positive Psychology and Youth Work.
